The Nana variety was obtained as a result of breeding work at the INCDCSZ Institute in Brașov. The genetic basis of the variety is based on the combination of parental forms L. 2083 and Cleopatra.
The plant belongs to table varieties. It possesses high ecological plasticity, early maturity dates and increased intensity of tuber formation.
