The variety was obtained by crossing S.62/47/1 and Maris Piper. The vegetation period is 95–110 days. Tubers have an oval or round-oval shape, smooth white skin, and shallow eyes.
The variety possesses high resistance to potato wart, golden potato cyst nematode (race 1), and a number of viral diseases. It shows moderate resistance to late blight, blackleg, powdery scab, and gangrene, but is moderately susceptible to common scab and Fusarium dry rot.
The starch content is 11.2–14.9%, culinary type is AB. The variety is intended for wide use in cooking and industrial processing, and is characterized by good keeping quality of up to 98%.
