The variety was created by specialists at the Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute using interspecific hybridization methods. Wild potato species such as Solanum acaule, S. demissum, S. sisimbrifolium, S. chacoense, and S. stoloniferum were used in the breeding process.
The plant is characterized by high productivity and early maturity. The variety possesses resistance to the nematode Globodera rostochiensis. The qualitative indicators of the tubers are characterized by a dry matter content of more than 21% and a low reducing sugar content not exceeding 0.5%.
