The variety forms plants of erect or semi-erect type with closed foliage. The tubers are oblong with russeted brown skin, white flesh, and eyes of medium depth. The variety is distinguished by high yields of marketable tubers and good keeping quality due to a long dormancy period.
The plant has high resistance to Potato virus Y, late blight of leaves and tubers, common scab, and corky ringspot, while showing moderate resistance to Verticillium wilt. At the same time, the variety is highly susceptible to Fusarium dry rot, and is also sensitive to mechanical damage and hollow heart.
The potato has high specific gravity and reduced content of reducing sugars, which prevents darkening during storage and ensures a consistently light color of the finished product. Compared to standard Russet-type varieties, this potato contains more protein.
