Variety description

The variety is early-maturing, with a vegetation period of 70–80 days. The plant is low to medium in height, 60–70 cm, semi-erect or intermediate type with strong stems. Tubers weighing 60–150 g have an oblong-oval shape, smooth red skin, small shallow eyes, and light yellow to yellow flesh.

The yield of marketable tubers can reach 400 c/ha. The starch content is 10–15%. The variety is distinguished by high keeping quality of up to 98% and resistance of the flesh to darkening upon mechanical damage. The potatoes are suitable for retail sale and processing into fries and chips.

The variety is resistant to potato wart, golden potato cyst nematode, viruses A and Yn. It possesses high resistance to tuber late blight and moderate resistance to foliage late blight and common scab. It is characterized by drought tolerance and the ability to withstand high soil temperatures.
