The variety is the result of a cross between the varieties «Chieftain» and «D191.103». Plants of this variety are shorter than the standard variety «Red Pontiac» and have an average height of about 40 cm. Pronounced anthocyanin coloration is observed on the stems and the upper side of the leaves.
The tubers have a short-oval or oval shape with shallow to medium-depth eyes. The tuber flesh is cream-colored. The light sprout has a narrow cylindrical shape, and its base has weak to medium intensity of anthocyanin coloration.
