Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a mutation of the potato "Craig's Royal" and is classified as a representative of the second early maturity group. Crop growth and yield indicators are significantly influenced by planting dates and the physiological state of the seed material.

In agronomic studies, the variety is characterized as susceptible to a number of diseases, including late blight and viral diseases, in particular potato mop-top virus. Historically, the variety was used in commercial and amateur vegetable growing, and currently it is mentioned mainly in the context of scientific tests for pathogens.
