The variety was obtained as a result of hybridization of four varieties: «La Ratte», «Baltica», «Highland Burgundy Red» and «Huamantango». Tubers have shallow eyes, the flesh is distinguished by a spicy taste with a creamy texture. A high anthocyanin content ensures stable flesh coloration after thermal processing.
The variety belongs to the table purpose, cooking type is predominantly firm. Pre-sprouting of tubers is recommended for cultivation. The variety possesses resistance to potato mop-top virus (spraing) and moderate resistance to late blight of foliage. Keeping quality is assessed as medium or medium-good.
