The variety belongs to the mid-early type with a growing season of 80–90 days. Plants have an erect or semi-erect habit with reddish-purple flowers. Tubers are long-oval in shape, uniform, with red slightly netted skin and shallow eyes. Flesh is yellow, starch content is 12–17%.
The variety is intended for culinary use (cooking type 'predominantly firm'). It has low susceptibility to darkening after cooking and resistance to mechanical damage. Tolerates high temperatures and drought well.
Possesses immunity to potato cyst nematode and potato wart. Resistance to late blight is assessed as medium or high. The variety shows resistance to common scab and internal rust spot, but has high susceptibility to the Yntn virus.
