The potato variety Rosella is classified as mid-season. When studying the physical and mechanical properties of the tubers, it was determined that this variety possesses a specific pendulum index value, which is higher than that of early varieties, indicating the characteristics of its susceptibility to mechanical impacts.

During biochemical analyses, the variety was tested for content of vitamin C, nitrates, and total glycoalkaloids under different cultivation methods. The genetic material of the variety was also used in breeding work for the development of other potato varieties.
