The Rosara variety is an early table potato with a growing season of 80 to 90 days. The plant forms a tall, semi-spreading bush with thin, slightly pigmented stems and red-violet flowers.
The tubers have an oblong-oval shape, smooth red skin, yellow flesh and shallow eyes. The average weight of a marketable tuber is 81–115 g, yield varies from 200 to 415 c/ha with good keeping quality.
The variety is immune to potato wart, resistant to golden nematode, PVY and PLRV viruses. It possesses high resistance to late blight, common scab and blackleg, and adapts well to various soil types.
