The variety belongs to the very early category, with a ripening period of about 10–12 weeks. The plant reaches a height of 60 cm. The tubers have a long-oval or pear-shaped form, smooth cream-yellow or white skin, and small shallow eyes. The flesh is white or pale lemon in color.
The variety is characterized by high starch content; when boiled, the tubers tend to disintegrate rapidly. It possesses good resistance to common scab but is susceptible to late blight (Phytophthora infestans). It is distinguished by good keeping quality when stored under cool and dark conditions.
