The variety belongs to industrial potato types and specializes in starch production. Studies of the morphological characteristics of the starch granules of the variety showed the presence of a 5–10% fraction of the smallest granules.
Regarding disease protection, the variety is classified as requiring medium-intensity protection against PVY and PLRV viruses. The variety is also included in scientific studies concerning resistance to pathotypes of Synchytrium endobioticum that cause potato wart.
