Variety description

The variety is early or mid-early with a growing season of 25 to 50 days. The plant forms a large rosette with broad, elongated-oval or spear-shaped leaves of bright green or dark green color. The leaf blade is smooth or slightly bullate, succulent and tender.

The variety possesses pronounced cold hardiness and overwinters well in the rosette stage, including under snow. Resistance to bolting and certain races of downy mildew is also noted. The produce is versatile: suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and canning.
