The plant forms a compact or semi-erect rosette. The leaves are large, succulent, elongated-oval or spear-shaped; the color varies from light to dark green; the surface is smooth, slightly wavy, or slightly savoyed.

The variety possesses high cold and frost resistance; it is suitable for late autumn sowing and overwintering in open field or unheated greenhouses. Under long-day conditions and rising temperatures, it is prone to early bolting.

Intended for fresh consumption, canning, and freezing. It is an open-pollinated variety type, the characteristics of which may vary slightly depending on the seed producer.
