The variety forms a rosette of dark green rounded leaves reaching 20–40 cm in diameter. The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew and is tolerant to spinach mosaic virus.

The variety is suitable for cultivation in the open field in spring, summer, and autumn, and is also suitable for overwintering. The leaves are used fresh, for culinary processing, and for freezing. Studies note a reduced accumulation of cadmium, zinc, and copper in plant tissues.
