The variety belongs to smooth-leaf spinach. Leaf morphology studies note that this variety exhibits a smaller number of stomata on the underside of the leaf blade compared to other cultivars.

The hybrid possesses high resistance to downy mildew races 1–7, 9, 11–13, 15, as well as intermediate resistance to races 8, 10 and 16. The variety is used both for fresh consumption and for the production of spinach purée in industrial processing.
