The plant is vigorous, forming a large rosette of oval or heart-shaped leaves. The leaf surface is characterized as nearly smooth or semi-smooth. The variety is a variation of the classic French variety Monstrueux de Viroflay.

The plant possesses cold resistance and is capable of good overwintering. The variety is suitable for spring, autumn, and pre-winter sowing. The leaves are suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and freezing. The optimal distance for sowing is 15 by 20 cm.
