The plant is vigorous, forming a leaf rosette up to 30 cm in diameter. The leaves are dark green, smooth or slightly savoyed, oval or lanceolate in shape, reaching 20–25 cm in length. The variety is characterized by a reduced oxalic acid content.

The period from emergence to technical maturity is from 20–25 to 40–50 days. The variety possesses high cold hardiness and the ability to overwinter with autumn sowing. It has a certain resistance to powdery mildew and bolting, however, it requires regular watering and shading during the summer period.
