The variety is a bud mutation of the variety Charles Joly. The plant is an upright, moderately compact, branching shrub reaching a height of 3 to 5 meters.

The flowers are double, gathered in dense and thick inflorescences. A characteristic feature is the contrast between the bright magenta buds and the lighter pink open flowers. The variety is noted for abundant flowering in May-June and a strong fragrance.

The plant is frost-hardy, suitable for use in solitary plantings, parks, and gardens. The variety adapts well to growing conditions in sunny or semi-shaded areas with fertile and well-drained soil.
