Variety description

The plant has an upright pyramidal habit and flat, soft, scale-like foliage. The foliage color in summer is light green with a yellow tint; when the temperature drops below 5°C, it becomes bright golden or reddish-orange and retains this color until spring.
At maturity, the cultivar reaches a height of 4–5 m with a crown width of about 2 m. The growth rate is 20–25 cm per year. The plant is frost-hardy, withstands temperatures down to -29°C...-32°C (USDA zones 5–8), and is characterized by resistance to diseases.
The cultivar prefers sunny locations to maintain the brightness of the foliage and well-drained, moderately moist soils. It tolerates waterlogging and severe drought poorly and responds well to pruning.
