Variety description

The variety was discovered in 1997 as a natural bud mutation of the Thuja plicata 'Gelderland' variety. The plant has a narrow-pyramidal or columnar crown shape and reaches a height of over 4 meters in the first ten years of its life.
The needles have a bright yellow or lemon hue that is maintained throughout the year. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, resistance to deformation under snow, and does not require pruning. The plant is undemanding to soils and grows well in sun and partial shade.
This variety is used in landscape design for creating hedges, group plantings, as a specimen plant, or for container cultivation.
