Variety description

The variety forms a broadly conical crown, often with several equal vertical shoots. At 10 years of age, the plant reaches 2.5–3 meters in height; mature specimens without pruning can grow up to 5–10 meters. The shoots are short, flat, fan-shaped, and arranged horizontally.
The scale-like needles are a rich green color with golden-yellow tips on young growth, acquiring a bronze hue in the autumn-winter period. The plant is shade-tolerant and tolerates urban conditions well, however, it is sensitive to drought and requires fertile, moist, drained soils.
Due to its rapid growth rate (about 30 cm per year) and resistance to pruning, the variety is actively used in ornamental landscaping, in particular for creating hedges and trellises.
