The variety originated as a mutation of Thuja plicata 'Gelderland'. The plant has a dense columnar or narrow pyramidal structure. After 10 years, it reaches a height of 3–4 meters with a width of about 1 meter; the average growth rate is approximately 30 cm per year.
The foliage has a fine texture and a bright light green or creamy-green color that does not change to bronze during the winter period. The stems are orange-brown in color. The plant tolerates pruning well, is shade-tolerant, and is drought-resistant after establishment.
The variety is adapted to USDA hardiness zones 5–8. It is suitable for solitary plantings, container cultivation, and creating hedges in confined spaces.
