Variety description

The variety is a dwarf shrub reaching a height of 80–100 cm and a width of 50–60 cm at the age of ten years, and 1–1.5 m in height and 50–80 cm in width at maturity. The annual growth rate is about 10–15 cm in height and 4–5 cm in width. The plant has a shallow, densely branched root system and reddish-brown bark with strips.
The needles are scale-like, decorative, greenish-yellow in color, acquiring a bronze shade in winter. The variety is suitable for solitary plantings, small gardens, containers, and rock gardens. The plant prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with fertile, acidic, and moist soils. In regions with heavy snowfall, it is recommended to tie the branches to prevent damage from snow load.
