The variety is a medium-tall perennial with stems approximately 70 cm high. The plant has a semi-erect growth habit, with well-branched and leafy stems. The variety is characterized by high frost resistance, while showing a tendency to lodging.
The plant is well adapted to difficult soil conditions: it tolerates acidic and alkaline soils, as well as spring flooding. The forage mass has good nutritional value and does not cause bloat in livestock. Due to its specific taste, the crop is more often used for hay production.
