The variety is used in grass mixtures for the establishment of cultivated pastures and hayfields. It is also used as a component in agrotechnical trials, in particular as a predecessor for cereal crops.

When cultivated for seed, the variety grows best on loamy and sandy-loam soils with a favorable moisture regime. It is not recommended to plant after other legume crops for 5–6 years prior to planting. It is characterized as a variety adapted to the conditions of the region.
