The variety is intended for fodder purposes. During agronomic studies, it was noted that under certain cultivation conditions, the Lybid variety accumulates more potassium in dry forage mass compared to a number of other varieties.

This variety is mentioned in studies dedicated to researching the energy efficiency of red clover cultivation and the influence of sowing methods and fertilization on the productivity of phytocenoses.
