The variety belongs to tetraploid forms of red clover. It demonstrates high productivity and maintains good growth rates during the third year of use.

The plant possesses increased resistance to diseases, including root rot and clover rot, and also demonstrates drought tolerance. The variety is distinguished by high protein content and good digestibility.

Magellan is intended for use in forage mixtures with grasses for hay or silage production, contributing to an increase in the nutritional value of feed and nitrogen fixation.
