Rezista is a tetraploid (4n) red clover variety intended for the creation of cultivated pastures and hayfields. The plant is used as a forage crop; its application in grass mixtures contributes to an increase in the content of crude protein in dry matter.
During studies, the variety was included in analyses to assess the level of phytoestrogens, such as formononetin and biochanin A. The variety also underwent testing for susceptibility to a number of viral diseases, including white clover mosaic virus, where it showed a high degree of susceptibility to infection.
