The variety is tetraploid (4n) and belongs to the mid-early group. The plant forms many spherical inflorescences, the leaves have pronounced mottling.

The variety possesses ecological plasticity and good winter hardiness. Resistance to Sclerotinia is rated as medium. In agronomic practice, it is often used as a control variety during trials.
