Variety description

The variety is characterized by large leaves and hollow petioles. Compared to the Ladino variety, Haifa plants have a higher stolon density, lower height, and form a denser stand. The main growth of the crop occurs during spring, summer, and autumn, while the variety shows high activity during the winter period.

The plant possesses high nutritional value and good palatability for livestock. The variety is productive under conditions of irrigation or sufficient rainfall levels, and displays some tolerance to drought due to a deep root system. There is noted weak resistance to prolonged intensive grazing and sensitivity to a number of pathogens, characteristic of most white clover varieties.
