Alka is a semi-dwarf variety with an average stem height of about 67 cm. The plant is characterized by good tillering ability and high productivity under various growing conditions.

The variety possesses good resistance to lodging, low temperatures, and common wheat diseases. The recommended optimal sowing period is from October 7 to October 25 with a seeding rate of 550–600 viable seeds per m².

The grain is of good quality, with milling and baking properties characterized by specific rheological dough indicators, in particular, a minimal degree of softening during kneading.
