The variety has a white ear of medium length, which can range from medium density to dense. The ear shape in profile is parallel. A characteristic feature is the presence of short awns in the upper part of the ear, comprising approximately one quarter of its length.
The variety is actively used in scientific practice for monitoring fungal disease populations in Europe. Its specific reaction to pathogens, due to the presence of certain Yr resistance genes, makes it an important tool for phytosanitary control.
