The winter soft wheat variety named Atoll was recorded in the German descriptive variety lists during the 2007–2008 period. According to variety trial materials of that time, the plant was characterized by a medium maturity group and medium stem height.
Within the framework of variety evaluations, resistance to lodging and a number of common pathogens, including powdery mildew, Septoria leaf blotch, yellow rust, and leaf rust, were taken into account. At the present time, this variety is not represented in current commercial portfolios and belongs to the breeding achievements of past years.
