The variety is a winter soft wheat. In the British classification, it corresponded to quality group 2, combining high yield with a protein level characteristic of group 1 varieties.
The plant possesses resistance to leaf rust, powdery mildew, yellow rust, and Septoria. The variety contains the Pch1 gene, providing resistance to eyespot, and is suitable for cultivation in crop rotation as a second wheat.
The grain possesses high water absorption indicators and good baking performance, which allows the variety to be used for milling purposes.
