The variety belongs to the spring wheat type. The plant is of medium height, the flag leaf is often curved, and the anthocyanin coloration of the sheath is weak or medium. The spike is white, has a parallel shape in profile, and is of medium density. A medium-intensity waxy bloom is present on the neck of the stem, and the straw is hollow or has a very thin pith.
The grain of the variety has a soft endosperm type; specific alleles, including Pinb-D1c, have been identified in its genotype. The variety shows susceptibility to certain isolates of powdery mildew and is used in scientific research on Fusarium head blight, the impact of climatic stresses, and tillage technologies on crop productivity.
