The variety is among the historical French wheats. During its creation, the method of introgression of genetic material from the wild species Aegilops ventricosa was used, which made it possible to obtain resistance to eyespot (strawbreaker foot rot).

In agronomic literature, the variety is mentioned as an important milestone in the application of distant hybridization methods. Modern detailed agrotechnical indicators and grain quality parameters are not publicly available.
