The Bubimir variety has passed state registration in Croatia and is used in scientific research dedicated to studying the metabolic profile of grain and the response to Fusarium head blight infection.
A characteristic feature of the variety is its ability to increase the crude gluten content in the grain when exposed to stress factors such as fungal diseases.
