The variety is a winter form of wheat. The plant is characterized by drought tolerance, winter hardiness, and high yield. Studies have confirmed high resistance to leaf rusts.

In the genetic analysis of the variety, the 1BL.1RS wheat-rye translocation was studied, which carries the Sr31 gene providing resistance to stem rust. The variety was also evaluated as high-quality in the context of wheat baking properties.
