The Demetra variety is a winter soft wheat bred at the Agricultural Institute in Osijek. The crop is intended for food use.
Grain quality studies show that the variety possesses high baking characteristics; in particular, it demonstrates high extensibility and dough elasticity indicators, as well as a high gluten index.
