The soft winter wheat variety DIPLOMAT was officially included for use in the Russian Federation starting in 2024. Detailed economic and biological characteristics of this variety are not currently widely presented in open publications.

European catalogs and historical studies also mention a winter wheat variety DIPLOMAT, bred in Germany in 1966 by the breeding company Firlbeck.
