The plant of the Dobirna variety has an intermediate growth habit. The stem is of medium thickness, hollow and strong. The variety is characterized by high growth rates and intensive spring tillering.

The variety possesses high resistance to lodging and grain shattering. Resistance to root rots, Septoria, Fusarium, leaf rust, powdery mildew, and tan spot is evaluated as medium to above medium.

The variety is of universal purpose, undemanding to preceding crops and sowing dates. The recommended seeding rate is 5.5 million viable seeds per hectare. It is used in breeding work as a source of valuable spike productivity traits.
