The variety belongs to the second grain quality group. In agricultural studies, it is used as an object for studying resistance to pathogens, including Septoria leaf blotch and tan spot caused by the fungus Pyrenophora tritici-repentis.

This variety is included in Argentine agronomic classifications, where its response to temperature stresses, particularly frost, is studied. Detailed morphological descriptions of the plant, such as stem height or maturity group, are absent in open publications.
