The variety is an object of scientific research; in particular, it is registered as containing the rust resistance gene Sr31. During experiments to study protection mechanisms under drought, it was found that under moisture deficit the variety demonstrates a decrease in the number of spikes and grains, which is compensated by an increase in their size.
Studies of the physiological characteristics of the variety included an analysis of the expression of protective genes Wdhn13 and Wrab17 in response to drought after a period of cold acclimation. In addition, the variety is mentioned in professional publications as material for laboratory assessment of seed purity and authenticity by protein electrophoresis.
