The variety was derived from a genetic combination of Sonja and Zlatna Dolina. The plant is characterized by resistance to stem rust and also exhibits resistance to leaf rust under field conditions in the adult plant stage.

Wheat of this variety is intended for the baking industry. The variety is frequently used in research work dedicated to breeding, the study of phytopathological resistance, and nitrogen use efficiency.
