HIMARS is an early-maturing awned variety of winter soft wheat. The plant is characterized by vigorous development and thick stems, providing resistance to lodging. Rye genetic material was used in the breeding of the variety.
The yield of the variety reached 8.71 t/ha during trials. The variety is associated with Romanian breeding, in particular with the originator RAGT Soytek.
