The variety was obtained as a result of crossing the Devon and Mahti varieties. The plants possess morphological features in the form of a pronounced waxy bloom on the flag leaf sheath, clearly visible under field conditions.
The variety possesses complex resistance to diseases, however, under field conditions it may show susceptibility to powdery mildew. The grain is characterized by high protein content and good baking qualities, which allows the variety to be used both in production and in breeding.
