The ear of the variety is of medium length, medium density, and has a parallel-sided shape. In the upper quarter of the ear, there are awns of medium or long length. The plant has an intermediate or semi-prostrate growth habit in the initial phase, and heading time is medium or late.
The straw is short, with low or absent wall thickness under the ear; the grain is red in color. The variety was used in scientific research as a parental line for studying plant physiology and crop architecture.
