Kujawianka Więcławicka is an old local form of wheat. The variety is not intended for commercial cultivation and currently has the status of an object to be protected as a genetic resource.
Studies under organic farming conditions confirm that the variety is inferior to modern breeding lines in yield by 30–36%. Plants are characterized by lower ear density, reduced grain weight, and increased susceptibility to fungal diseases.
